Job Description
Key responsibilities
- Team management: Lead and supervise a team of collection executives to achieve monthly targets.
- Collection and recovery: Implement collection activities, minimize delinquencies, and recover revenue. This involves direct communication with clients to discuss performance and overdue amounts.
- Performance monitoring: Track and report on collection performance, conduct daily and regular account reconciliations, and maintain accurate records.
- Field operations: Conduct field visits to meet with delinquent customers, attend center meetings, and visit branches to supervise and support the local teams.
- Client and team support: Act as a liaison to resolve client issues by coordinating with other departments and provide support and training to the team.
- Risk management: Identify, analyze, and recommend loss mitigation or litigation opportunities.
- Business development: Perform surveys to understand business potential in the assigned area.
Key skills and qualifications
- Experience in financial services, specifically in collection and management.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in management information systems (MIS) and data analysis.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions.
- Experience in the microfinance industry is often preferred.
